Prof. Dr. Pfeiffer is an attending at the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and the PI of the X-Ray and CT Research Group. Her main interests and most important scientific results lie in the field of photon counting CT technology, dual-energy and spectral CT applications, dark-field and phase contrast imaging, and machine learning in clinical applications. Prof. Dr. Pfeiffer is internationally well recognized and has strong collaborations with several highly-recognized institutions, such as the Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School. She is a member of the scientific research committee of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Her research achievements have been awarded with the prestigious Röntgen-Prize.
